When the original GT SnowRacer debuted in the 1980’s, we were in elementary school in a suburb of Toronto and wanted one bad. Our mom didn’t want us to have one, even badder. So we stuck with tobogganing on our plastic bags from 7-Eleven and tractor tires that we would steal from the nearby garbage dump.
In a twist of fate, the GT SnowRacer re-entered our lives as adult professionals, when we got the opportunity to design the packaging for the illustrious Swedish company. In keeping with tradition, we kept the lines rigid and the white space abundant, even though Canadian packaging laws demand both English and French on all sides.
Sadly, we designed these for Sweden from afar (while in hot Taiwan, actually) and we still never got to ride our beloved original GT SnowRacer.
